I'm a 2010 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication. In my past experiences, I worked in menu design, which empowered hundreds of restauranteurs to produce their best products, entice customers to buy delicious food, and enhance overall guest experience in the restaurant setting. My graphic design offerings enabled folks to show up, be their best, and contribute the rest.

Now, I wish to move my career in the direction of sustainable digital design, including science advocacy. Science is the way of the future. Whether it's through battery-powered cars, solar-powered grids, AI-driven technology, or other technological advances, science and engineering are our evidence-driven way to empower ourselves for the future and mitigate the impacts of impending climate change. We simply have no other option.

 

For me, it's essential that I use graphic design to improve efforts and psychological sentiment to achieve a sustainable future. I intend to use graphic design as the vehicle to release new findings, teach previously uneducated masses, and empower previously underserved individuals to understand and engage with science at scale. It is the power of graphic design which drives engagement and new thought about the new and beautiful - that is, what's even possible. I seek to create media which speak to the ability of science to save us all, and I implore you to partner with me in this most imminent pursuit.​​
